PUBLISHER’S SUMMARY: The darker side of vampires....
In a moonlit garden, three women with disturbing smiles wait. Their eyes gleam like opals, and the only color in the silver night is the red of their lips. They long for what they wait for.
And what they wait for comes quickly.
"Bid me enter."
Here is an unsettling retelling of the Bram Stoker classic from a different point of view. This isn't your parents' Dracula.
This is a full-cast, soundscaped audio dramatization.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: On a stormy night, solicitor Johnathan Helker pays a visit to the crumbling castle of Count Dracula. The Count invited Helker under the pretense of finding a new home as his ancient family estate has become unserviceable, but his true motive lies along a different, darker path. Soon after his arrival, Helker falls ill and must extend his visit by several days. During his convalescence, his rest is disturbed by fever dreams, dreams of violence and blood.
Upon his recovery, Helker and the Count sail for the mainland, but their ship encounters storms and sinks. Only Helker is recovered alive, the Count and remaining crew apparently drowned. Helker is returned home to his beloved Mina for another period of convalescence, but soon enough, others of his household begin to experience strange dreams. Then the killings begin.
It is one ofHelker’s house guests, a certain Professor Van Helsing, that pieces together what is happening. It seems the Count did not perish in the shipwreck after all. But knowing the problem is not the same as solving it.
In a dramatic re-telling of the classic vampire tale, the Atlanta Radio Theatre Company employs a full cast of talented voice actors, along with extraordinarily eerie music and sound effects. It’s the perfect audio drama to set the mood for all of your Halloween festivities.
The Brides of Dracula includes cast members Thomas E Fuller, Bill Jackson, Fiona K Leonard, and Clair Whitworth Kiernan.
