“You will dress only in attire sanctioned by M I B special services. You will conform to the identity we give you, eat where we tell you, live where we tell yu. From now on you’ll have no identifying marks of any kind; yu will not stand out in any way. Your entire image is crafted to leave no lasting memory with anyone you encounter. You are a rumour, recognizable only as déjà vu, and dismissed just as quickly. You don’t exist, you were never even born. Anonymity is your name, silence your native tongue. You are no longer part of the system, you’re above the system, over it, beyond it. We’re them. We’re they. We are the Men in Black.”
“You know what the difference is between you and me?” says newly christened agent J as he dons his black suit. “I make this look good.”
Imagine an entire galaxy encapsulated in a sphere the size of a large marble. That’s exactly what an alien brought to earth. Now there are other aliens trying to get their hands on it, and they’re willing to destroy the entire planet if they don’t get it. That’s where the Men in Black come in. A secret organization whose sole purpose is to monitor and govern all alien activity on the planet.
Talk about an odd couple. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are as different as black and white, so to speak, and they made a good pair for this movie. I remember when this movie hit theaters. There was tons and tons of hype over it, and the movie didn’t really live up to it. I was disappointed, but since then I have come to like the movie quite a bit.

-----Movie Review #2-----

Title: Men in black 2
Starring: Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Rip Torn, Lara Flynn Boyle
Narrator: uncredited
Running time: 88 minutes
Released in: 2002
Genre: science fiction
Filed in: Movie reviews

Five years ago, agent J (Smith) joined the Men in Black, replacing long-time veteran agent K (Jones). J has proven to be an effective agent, protecting the world from several alien threats, and never leaving any lasting impression on the general public.
But now he needs help. One of the most dangerous alien outlaws in the universe has come to earth looking for something that was left there 25 years ago, back in agent K’s day in other words. Unfortunately, when K retired, he was neuralyzed, wiping out all memory of his days with the M I B. Agent J will have to track him down, get him de-neuralyzed, and figure out what the alien wants before the earth is destroyed.
As with many sequels, this one wasn’t as good as its predecessor. Still, it’s an entertaining film and most people will probably enjoy it if you don’t expect too much from it.

  1. You didn't like this movie? Is that why you bought it, watched it over and over again, and I think I even seen a black suit in the closet, and those shades you wear? :P

This was definitely a weird pairing, a weird movie, and well, a box office hit. That's why they made a second one. lol
