MY THOUGHTS: “Night Probe” is the fifth audiobook in Clive Cussler’s Dirk Pitt series. It has been interesting to see Clive Cussler’s writing mature over the course of the first five audiobooks. His characters are gradually becoming more interesting, and his plots are better developed and more suspenseful. I am a big fan of ghost stories, and I was pleased with the element of the ghost train in “Night Probe.”
NARRATOR: I like Michael Prichard’s narration of the Dirk Pitt audiobooks. So far, he has narrated four of the first five audiobooks. I like that kind of consistency in a series of audiobooks.
FINAL WORD: “Night Probe” is another good installment in the Dirk Pitt series. I was fascinated by the idea of the United States and Canada merging into one huge country. I recommend this audiobook.
